Frequently Asked Questions

What is internal linking analysis?

Internal linking analysis examines how pages on your website link to each other. It helps identify structural issues like orphan pages (pages with no incoming links), pages that are too deep in your site architecture, and opportunities to improve navigation and PageRank flow.

What are orphan pages and why do they matter?

Orphan pages are pages listed in your sitemap but have no internal links pointing to them from other pages on your site. This makes them harder for users and search engine crawlers to discover, potentially impacting their rankings and traffic.

Is my website data stored?

No, all analysis is performed in real-time. Fetched pages are cached for 10 minutes for performance only, then automatically deleted. We do not permanently store your website data.

What are the crawl limits?

You can analyze up to 500 pages per run with a maximum analysis time of 90 seconds. Rate limit is 20 runs per hour per IP address. This ensures fair usage and server stability.

How does sitemap auto-discovery work?

If you enter a domain instead of a sitemap URL, we automatically check common sitemap locations: /sitemap.xml, /sitemap_index.xml, /sitemap-index.xml, and /wp-sitemap.xml. If found, we'll use it for analysis.
