Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident subscribing to GetSEO Intelligence. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are granted, how to request one, and how refunds are processed through our payment partner, Paddle.

1. Overview

GetSEO Intelligence is a subscription-based SaaS platform. All payments for paid plans are processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record. This means that when you subscribe, your payment is collected and managed by Paddle on our behalf. Refund requests are subject to the terms outlined in this policy and, where applicable, Paddle’s own policies.

2. Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a full refund if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The refund request is submitted within 7 calendar days of your initial purchase date.
  • The purchase is your first paid subscription to GetSEO Intelligence (refunds are available once per customer).
  • Your account has not been suspended or terminated for a violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • The request is submitted via the contact method described in Section 5 of this policy.
7-Day Refund WindowRefund requests must be received within 7 calendar days of the original purchase. Requests submitted after this window will not be eligible for a refund unless required by applicable consumer protection law.

3. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be issued in the following circumstances:

  • The 7-day refund window has expired.
  • A refund has previously been issued to the same customer or payment method.
  • The request relates to a subscription renewal rather than the initial purchase.
  • Partial usage of the subscription period — access to features during the billing period is considered usage regardless of frequency.
  • The account has been suspended or terminated due to abuse, violation of our Terms & Conditions, or fraudulent activity.
  • Lifetime or one-time purchase plans, unless otherwise stated at the point of sale.
  • Promotional, discounted, or trial-converted subscriptions where the terms explicitly exclude refunds.

4. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time from within your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will retain access to paid features until that date.

  • Cancelling a subscription stops future billing immediately — no further charges will be made after the current period ends.
  • Cancellation does not trigger an automatic refund for the current billing period.
  • Your account and data are retained for 30 days after cancellation, after which they may be permanently deleted.
  • If you wish to request a refund in addition to cancelling, please follow the process in Section 5.

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, send an email to our support team with the following information:

  • The email address associated with your GetSEO Intelligence account.
  • Your Paddle order ID or transaction reference (found in your payment receipt).
  • The date of purchase.
  • A brief reason for the refund request (optional, but helps us improve).

6. Processing Time

Once a refund request is approved, we will initiate the refund through Paddle. Please allow the following timeframes:

  • Refund approval notification: within 2 business days of receiving a valid request.
  • Funds returned to your original payment method: 5–10 business days after approval, depending on your bank or card issuer.
  • Cryptocurrency refunds (where applicable): processed within 5 business days at the exchange rate at time of refund, or as agreed with our support team.

We have no control over delays imposed by your bank or card network. If you have not received your refund after 10 business days, please contact us and we will follow up with Paddle on your behalf.

7. Paddle’s Role as Merchant of Record

Paddle serves as the Merchant of Record for all GetSEO Intelligence transactions. This means:

  • Paddle processes and collects your payment, and your payment receipt will show Paddle as the seller.
  • Paddle handles applicable sales tax, VAT, and GST calculations and remittance on our behalf.
  • In the event of a payment dispute or chargeback, Paddle may contact you directly to resolve the matter.
  • Paddle's own terms of service and privacy policy govern the processing of your payment data. We recommend reviewing these at paddle.com.

If you raise a chargeback with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may be unable to process a voluntary refund. We encourage you to reach out to us first — we are committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes were made. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
